Mimaki Engineering Co., Ltd. with its management vision of “Something New, Something Different,” will continue to pursue new technological innovations to achieve the “beauty and speed” that our customers demand.

XXL printing area for higher production and new industrial applications

Thanks to a very large printing area , 2.4 times larger than its smaller sister JFX600-2513,   JFX600-2531  allows the use of new materials for more industrial applications for example in the world of architecture and construction, such as glass, wood, plywood and much more, with a thickness of up to 60 mm.

JFX600-2531 is equipped with the 600 engine for a very high productivity which allows to enhance the production processes even for those who use standard panels from the world of graphics such as composites in aluminium, PVC, plexiglass, laminates today also with a brand new front and back printing function back .

New alternate printing function

The new alternating printing function allows you to divide the printing area into two distinct sessions and create a continuous work process between the front and back of the platen.
The operator sets the print origins in two positions, front and rear of the print bed. This way, manual preparation, such as replacing, fixing and cleaning panels, can be safely performed while printing continues on the other side of the bed, thus improving efficiency and eliminating waiting times.

Mimaki core technology for fast, continuous and reliable production

Thanks to Mimaki’s core technology, which reduces operator intervention and optimizes print quality, the following automatic functions are available:

  • Waveform Control With Mimaki’s unique advanced control over ink droplet ejection, droplets can be ejected with high circularity to land precisely on the media. This allows you to get a clear expression of the text, lines and edges.
  • MAPS4 (Mimaki Advanced Pass System 4) reduces the banding effect even at high speeds, printing the edges between one pass and another in a nuanced way, reducing uneven drying of the ink and bidirectional streaks.
  • Variable Dots Three different ink dot sizes are used to achieve high-quality prints with reduced graininess.
  • Nozzle CheckUnit  (NCU), which monitors the status of the print nozzles
  • Nozzle Recovery System (NRS), which makes up for the lack of some nozzles, maintaining the desired print quality.
  • Mimaki Circulation Technology (MCT), which prevents ink sedimentation

More value to prints: 2.5D function

The JFX600-2531 large format flatbed has the 2.5D printing function that creates material textures on any substrate with a simple “one-touch” workflow. “2.5D Texture Maker” is a function of the supplied RasterLink7 RIP.

More value to prints: white ink and transparent ink

Printing with high-density white ink as a background color on transparent or richly colored media makes color images more vibrant.

Printing with transparent ink creates decorative effects such as matte, gloss and texture.

More value to prints: primer

The innovative inkjet primer is designed to optimize adhesion on a wide range of materials, including resin, glass, metal and finely machined surfaces. With our PR-200 primer, you can expand your creative options and create high-quality applications that enhance your products.

The main advantage? Our technology allows you to apply primer exactly where you need it, without compromising the original texture or finish of the materials.

With our simultaneous application method during color printing, you can keep the unique original characteristics of your favorite material intact, avoiding the loss of finish that often occurs with traditional, hand-applied primers.

MDL (Mimaki Device Language) technology to automate the printing process

Mimaki offers command sets to allow customers’ production systems and peripheral devices to control Mimaki printers . By applying these commands, you can control the position and height of the media setting table, the start of printing, and other printer operations. Additionally, you can get information about the remaining ink level and errors from the printer.

Regarding the MDL command , customers can create systems optimized for their individual applications by developing the necessary software using the technical information (SDK) provided by Mimaki. The system will contribute to the automation and optimization of production in customers’ business.

New optional 3 liter ink system
