Challenges in the Industrial Printing Market and New Solutions Offered by the New Model

The proliferation of digital printing has normalized short-run, multi-variety production in custom goods printing sector, such as smartphone cases, promotional items, and character goods. In the industrial printing sector, inkjet printers capable of stable printing on diverse materials like metal and resin are increasingly being adopted.

UJF-7151 plusII e

Addressing these challenges, the new UJF-7151 plusII e model inherits the top-class printing precision and productivity highly praised in previous models while significantly enhancing ink layering capability and uneven surface adaptability. Building on its existing performance printing on thick materials, it now enables three-dimensional texture expression through ink layering and improved conformability to diverse shapes like curved surfaces and irregularities. This supports high-value-added manufacturing across a wide range of fields, including custom goods businesses and industrial printing, opening new possibilities for industrial printing.

Custom Goods Printing: Enhances the added value and brand expression of customized products through three-dimensional texture printing.
Industrial Printing: Supports manufacturing efficiency and new market development through stable printing on stepped and curved components

Emboss print upto 5mm

Achieve stunning 3D textures and tactile surfaces with precision. The printer enables raised emboss printing up to 5 mm, adding depth and premium finish to signage, packaging, and decorative products.

Hi-Speed Primer Function

Integrated high-speed primer layer printing allows faster multi-layer production. Compared to previous models, the Plus II e applies primer in a dedicated fast mode, reducing total print time while maintaining perfect adhesion on diverse materials.

LD mode

The extended LD mode supports printing on materials up to 10 mm thick, expanding compatibility with rigid substrates such as wood, metal, glass, and acrylic without compromising precision or quality.

Ink-saving FUNCTION

Equipped with Mimaki’s renowned ink-saving technology, the system optimizes droplet placement and minimizes ink waste. This ensures lower running costs and consistent color accuracy throughout long production runs.

4. High image quality printing | Smooth gradation and high density printing
Fast and high quality production for customized products and signage

Waveform Control
By directly discharging spherical ink droplets, droplet deposition is facilitated and overlap between dots is reduced, resulting in sharp print quality with low grain.

Waveform Control
Variable Dots
Three different ink dot sizes are used in printing to enable high-quality prints with reduced grain.

MAPS (Mimaki Advanced Pass System) Variable Dots
Banding (horizontal stripes), uneven colors or gloss streaks can be reduced to produce uniform prints by printing pass boundaries that fade in gradation.

Intuitive user interface and stable operation technology
Intuitive user interfaces easily accessible from the front
Valve and foot switch for vacuum control
The vacuum area is divided into a front and rear section. The valve can be used to easily switch between them depending on the media size. The foot switch allows you to turn the vacuum on/off while checking the media position.

Valve and foot switch for suction control
Ink tank unit
Ink bottles are accessible from the front of the printer for replacement and maintenance. This minimizes the path to be followed by operators, increasing work efficiency.

Mimaki technology to realize stable operation: Automatic maintenance function to reduce downtime
NCU and NRS automatically detect missing nozzles and perform recovery
NCU (Nozzle Check Unit) automatically detects the status of nozzles. When NCU detects a missing nozzle, it automatically performs cleaning. If cleaning does not solve the problem, NRS (Nozzle Recovery System) automatically replaces the defective nozzles with other nozzles, which allows users to continue working without waiting for the service representative.

NCU and NRS automatically detect missing nozzles and perform recovery
Mimaki Circulation Technology (MCT) minimizes downtime
MCT is used in the ink tank and channel. White ink is circulated at regular intervals to prevent pigment sedimentation that leads to printhead malfunctions.
