The Kebab HS represents a significant evolution in direct-to-object printing capabilities. This new addition to Mimaki’s Kebab family enables 360-degree printing on cylindrical objects. In addition, it can also cover slanted and conical shapes. If you need to personalise bottles, tumblers, cups and bowls, the Kebab HS is the perfect printing solution for you.

Kebab HS is the new Mimaki system for the UJF series that allows you to print completely 360 degrees on the entire circumference of cylindrical and even conical objects with a tilt angle of up to 7.5° . The new Kebab HS increases your business thanks to a new expanded range of printable objects .

FEATURES OF KEBAB
How does printing with Kebab HS work ? The object spins rapidly on itself and the carriage stops for each color pass, using the full width of the print head , as it moves along the table to ensure speed.
*Tested on UJF-6042 MkII e, 600X1200 DPI 16 pass, W+CMYK, object 100mm diameter and 200mm length. Speed varies depending on printer and output settings.
Kebab HS can print on objects with a diameter of 50 to 100 mm and a length of 30 to 300 mm*. It also supports conical objects with tilt angles from 0 to 7.5°**, expanding the range of printable products and application markets.
* Up to 280mm with adapters (standard mount)
**For objects with a diameter greater than 86mm, printing is not allowed as it exceeds the height limit of the main body lid.
With Kekab HS, the range of objects on which you can print directly is expanded thanks to the possibility of printing on conical shapes such as cocktail glasses, tapered bottles, etc.
RasterLinkTools is an Adobe Illustrator plug-in designed to help prepare print files for RasterLink. When printing on tapered materials, the print area compresses as you move from the larger to the smaller diameter, which can warp your print. RasterLinkTools’ Kebab tapered shape feature lets you easily correct image warping to keep graphics and logos in their original shape even on tapered objects with slanted sides.

Print image size
By entering the outer diameter of the object, the circumference and recommended print width are automatically calculated.
Image resizing function
The print image is automatically adjusted to the calculated outer circumference. No manual calculations or scaling of the print image is required.
