Emboss print upto 5mm

Achieve stunning 3D textures and tactile surfaces with precision. The printer enables raised emboss printing up to 5 mm, adding depth and premium finish to signage, packaging, and decorative products.

Hi-Speed Primer Function

Integrated high-speed primer layer printing allows faster multi-layer production. Compared to previous models, the Plus II e applies primer in a dedicated fast mode, reducing total print time while maintaining perfect adhesion on diverse materials.

LD mode

The extended LD mode supports printing on materials up to 10 mm thick, expanding compatibility with rigid substrates such as wood, metal, glass, and acrylic without compromising precision or quality.

FEATURES OF THE CG-FXII PLUS SERIES
ID CUT function to automate the cutting process

Mimaki has equipped the cutting plotters of the CG-FXII plus series with a new cutting function, ID CUT, which makes the work process continuous and automatic.
The plotter autonomously detects and reads the barcodes and performs the cutting automatically, whereas in the past the operator had to scan the barcode and forward the cutting information to the machine. Operator intervention is now reduced to a minimum.
He avoids errors, saves material and speeds up the process.

Use in combination with the JV300-160 Plus printer

The CG-FXII Plus series cutting models used in combination with the JV300 Plus printer create a continuous, automatic printing and cutting process, with high performance and excellent quality.

4 different cutting modes

The advanced cutting functions that the CG-FXII plus series plotters are equipped with allow you to choose 4 different cutting modes based on the work to be performed or the operator’s needs.
It is possible to cut with the continuous detection of the registration marks or alternatively with the reading of the bar code which includes all the data necessary for processing. Mimaki also allows you to set cutting without marks or eliminate margins, saving material.

 

Continuous high-speed registration mark recognition

The optical sensor allows the registration marks previously printed on the material to be automatically recognized at high speed, the cutting head activates the functions necessary to obtain an accurate result.

FineCut9

Mimaki FineCut 9 software, included in Mimaki cutting plotters, allows rapid movement of the blade between registration marks and various cutting functions.

Material feeding

Constant material feeding and alignment even at high speeds. The cutting material is constantly kept under control by the media hold which allows precise feeding and alignment. This feature further optimizes cutting precision, even in the presence of very long jobs.

 

Half cut and through cut

In addition to carving the material, thanks to the Mimaki pass-through cutting function, it is also possible to cut the liner coupled to the support, thus obtaining images already cut out and die-cut. The stickers remain attached to the reel via small joining points that keep them in position after processing. Easy to handle and ship, this way the stickers, in sheets or wrapped in rolls, are ready for use and perfectly in order.
Die-cutting is also possible for materials that do not have coupled liner.

 

 

Very sophisticated cutting head

The cutting head of the CG-FXII plus models is very sophisticated. It was in fact designed to accelerate data recognition, automate the work process and offer some additional features that make cutting extremely accurate.
On the cutting head, in addition to the optical sensor, there is an automatic sheet cutting blade, a laser pointer and a two-position swivel blade holder.

Other characteristics

  • The pressure of the pinch rollers is adjustable (strong/weak) based on the thickness of the materials and the different types of finishes of the support to be cut.
  • Three selectable cutting speeds to ensure correct and easy positioning of the head on the cutting point.
  • The Over-Cut function ensures that the starting point of the cut is automatically overlapped with the final point, preventing uncut support parts from remaining. This ensures that the design is cut completely and that the edges are cut cleanly without residue, even on thick or viscous materials.
