Bompan is the exclusive importer for Italy and Malta of Mimaki Engineering products, a Japanese company leader in the design and production of
digital printing solutions and cutting systems dedicated to the graphic arts, industrial markets and the textile world.
Bompan was founded in Tradate in 1996, from the intuition of the entrepreneur Massimo Bompan , current president of the company. In those years, large format digital printing was still in its infancy, but Mimaki immediately stood out for its highly innovative approach that is still the heart of the partnership that binds Bompan to Mimaki.

Bompan boasts the broadest portfolio of large format printing and cutting solutions on the market . Over 50 different Mimaki models that fall under the 4 business units: Sign & Graphic (SG), Industrial Products (IP), Textile & Apparel (TA) and 3d Printing (3D).
Bompan and Mimaki share the same strategic vision . The collaboration between the two companies has consolidated over the years until the creation of a Joint Venture in 2017 from which Mimaki Bompan Textile was born, also in Italy, which has since then been entrusted with the textile business (TA).
Bompan is a constantly growing , structured and widespread company that continues to follow the path of innovation alongside Mimaki, with the collaboration of commercial partners selected according to criteria of efficiency and proximity to the territory.

We’re a leading international developer and manufacturer of laser machines with headquarters in Marchtrenk, Austria. The birth of laser technology in our group of companies happened back in 1991, with the then revolutionary idea of using CO2 laser machines to produce text plates, precisely and under the highest quality standards, which laid the foundation for Trotec’s development history and the digitalization of the stamp industry. Today, we have 17 sales offices with a total of +750 employees. The export quota is 97%. Our machines are used in more than 90 countries around the world.
